We offer a dynamic workshop that will demonstrate the function of a temporary school in the neighborhood boundaries. The urban environment is perceived as a study space in which teaching will take place in and around the neighborhood. The participants explore the area, suggest potential study sites, and then are divided into working groups that formulate the shape, content, and knowledge transferred in the classes.
The workshop includes mapping and marking of the walking path and study sites, along with constructing the schedule and linking the contents of lessons to the map. Upon completion of the tour, the temporary school is open to participants and local residents who are invited to take part. Through this activity, participants will strengthen and form new connections among each other, and the idea of the neighborhood as a study ground and source of knowledge for its residents will be practiced.
